Barnaby Lu – <Light, Answered> Release Show

Hong Kong pianist and composer Barnaby Lu presents music from his upcoming debut album <Light, Answered> — a collection of original works exploring distance, memory, faith, and the quiet search for light.

Blending modern jazz, ambient textures, odd meters, and collective improvisation, the music moves between drifting spaces, fragile warmth, and moments of quiet intensity.

Performed in an intimate live setting, the music unfolds through spontaneity, interaction, and subtle shifts between tension and stillness.

香港鋼琴家兼作曲家Barnaby Lu將帶來首張專輯《Light, Answered》中嘅作品——一系列原創樂章，探討距離、記憶、信仰，與對光無聲嘅追尋。

音樂融合現代爵士、氛圍質感、不規則節拍與集體即興，在飄浮嘅空間感、脆弱嘅暖意，與悄然湧動的張力之間遊走。

於近距離的現場演出中，樂曲藉由即興火花、樂手間的呼應，以及緊張與靜謐之間嘅細微轉換，層層鋪展而開。

A jazz pianist and composer from Hong Kong, and a graduate of Musicians Institute (Los Angeles).

His music weaves gospel harmony, odd meters, and cinematic textures into soundscapes that reflect an inner journey. 

來自香港的爵士鋼琴手與作曲人，畢業於美國 Musicians Institute。

他的音樂揉合 gospel 和聲、奇數節奏與電影般的聲音風景，試圖以旋律紀錄內心的掙扎與重構。
